Who are the Good People? - Transcendental Aspirations

Who are the Good People?

A guest post from TA staff member Pam...:)

Like every good Druid, I've always been fascinated by the concept of Faerie, Elves and other magical beings. Everyone has their own definition of what Faerie is, and from my perspective, they are higher vibrational spirits of nature who occupy the same space as ours and who normally exist between the molecules of 3 dimensional reality. I think of them as air beings.

These entities have been known in Ireland and Wales for centuries, even millenia, as "The Good People." I'm sure they must have been known to the Druids, back when our reality was able to more easily than now intersect and coexist with the Faerie realm.

During the evening of the 2021 Spring Equinox, I ran across a series on YouTube (now it's a podcast as well) called "Encounters with the Good People." The creator is Kitty Phelan, and she started producing the series in February 2019.

Anyone wanting to start bringing magic into their lives must watch this series! Start from the beginning, or jump around to topics that sound interesting to you. If you're anything like me, more and more often, you'll find yourself thinking about The Good People and how to make our world friendlier to them.

Perhaps you've had an encounter with Faerie at one time or another. If so, one video or another will jog your memory.

One caveat is this:  Always beware of the dark side of the Faerie realm. Like people, Faerie vary widely in their temperament and friendliness - some are vicious and menacing! Proceed with caution by following Kitty's advice.

Finally, Kitty's only requirement for community participation is that you have to actually believe in Faerie (no skepticism). So check it out, enjoy a new adventure, and let us know what you think in the comments below:
